Jonny Bairstow made his highest score in international Twenty20 cricket as England beat South Africa by five wickets in the series opener at Newlands, Cape Town.
After coming to the crease at 27-2, chasing 180 to win, Bairstow hit nine fours and four sixes in a magnificent 48-ball 86.
The 31-year-old was ably supported in an 85-run partnership with all-rounder by Ben Stokes, who made 37 off 27 balls.
